Beyond specific theories surrounding puissant information control systems, a general understanding of the basic conceptual theories of information management is a critical requirement for successful entrepreneurs in the 21st century to master. General theories incorporating the sociology of knowledge, organizational behavior, theories of learning, and social system theories coupled with specialized theses designed for circumstantial activities such as Information Richness, Social Presence, and Task Circumplex theories furnish the structure for lucrative information control management (Malhotra, 2000)

skills-
Identify information control skills that are critical for entrepreneurs to develop.
            Knowledge management requires the organizational and tactical alignment and employment of business information. Successful intelligence control skills that are pivotal for successful entrepreneurship in the 21st century are equitably earned through the combination of student internship and career experiences along with entrepreneurial competencies. The apperception, acquisition, repository, and propagation of knowledge are, in essence, remunerative information management skills that are critical for entrepreneurs to develop (Kearns & Sabherwal, 2006).

abilities-
            A stockpile of information is only useful if there is a viable data organization, retention, perpetuation, and acquisition and revivification of said knowledge. Fortuitous entrepreneurs evince information control competencies that allow for interpersonal access to organizational knowledge (Malhotra, 2000).

behaviors-
The organization and implementation of communally shared domains and the communication of both strategic and definitive information along all channels of the organization are behaviors that are positively associated with successful entrepreneurship in the 21st century  (Kearns & Sabherwal, 2006).
