Why is personal branding important?
You have heard that marketing does not just apply to enterprises. As individuals, when we are looking for a new job or trying to make ourselves interesting or attractive to another person or an organization, we can also make use of marketing principles. In such situations, we need to think what 'value' we can offer. For example, if we are marketing ourselves to a future employer we might think about what expertise we have, what qualifications we have or what skills we have. If we have strengths that are better than other applicants for the same job, we are more likely to win the new job.
