Single gender education

Reading through some of the literature on single gender education, I have learned a few strategies that can be used to effectively work with students. 

1. Understand the reason for the single-gender program and abide by the guiding principles. 

2. Tailor the context and examples of the learning materials to suit to the gender your are teaching. 

3. Never focus on the gender as an issue in the class room.
