REQUIREMENTS FOR CONTRACTORS/TRADES
The following documents are required to be filed with the City of Davenport for all contractors
that wish to work within the City of Davenport. The fiscal year ends each year on September 30th.

1. State of Florida Contractor’s License
   
2. County or City Occupational License
   
3. Registered with Polk County
   
4. Liability Insurance with the City of Davenport as an assigned
   
5. Workman’s Compensation Insurance or Worker’s Compensation Exemption Card
   
6. If you are NOT a State of Florida certified contractor, a $5,000.00 bond to the City of
   Davenport is required
   
7. Polk County Competency Card is required if you are NOT a State of Florida certified
   contractor
